Our custom design process begins with an initial consultation, where we'll take the time to understand your unique style, preferences, and budget. From there, we'll work with you to create a detailed design that incorporates your ideas and inspiration.
Once you've approved the design, our skilled craftsmen will begin the process of bringing your piece to life. We use only the highest quality materials, including ethically sourced diamonds and gemstones, to ensure that your custom piece is not only beautiful, but also durable and long-lasting.

The process generally takes 6-8 weeks from conception to completion.The process runs as follows;
1 to 2 weeks* to complete the computer CAD,
once approved, add...1 week* to complete the wax,
once approved, add...4 weeks* to finish the piece

Wax carving
To ensure that the final product meets your expectations, we go through a meticulous process of creating a wax carving model. This model allows us to settle design details and give you a clear idea of what the finished product will look like. Our skilled artisans carve the wax molds by hand, paying close attention to even the tiniest details, to achieve the level of artistic perfection that you expect from us. With this approach, we are able to create truly unique pieces that reflect your personal taste and style.
Casting
The Jewelry Source has an in-house casting facility where we use cutting-edge technology to turn your approved design into a physical piece of jewelry. Our skilled craftsmen take great care to ensure that the metals used in your jewelry are of the highest quality and are cast in a way that will result in a durable and long-lasting piece. We use a variety of casting methods, including lost-wax casting, to create intricate and delicate designs. This process involves creating a wax model of your design, which is then encased in a plaster-like material. Once the material hardens, the wax is melted out and replaced with the metal of your choice. This results in a perfect reproduction of your design in metal form.
Fabrication
The fabrication stage of jewelry making is where the real magic happens. It's where the vision of the jewelry design truly comes to life. Once the casting process is completed, the piece is still far from finished. It's time to add the finishing touches and really make it shine.
For designs that feature filigree or other handmade elements, our skilled artisans step in to complete the process. They work with great care and attention to detail to ensure that every element of the design is perfectly crafted. Filigree, which involves twisting and shaping thin wires of metal, requires incredible precision and skill. Setting
During the finishing stage, our experienced craftsmen add the final touches to your custom-designed jewelry to bring out the full beauty of the piece. They start by meticulously inspecting the piece to ensure that all aspects of the design are in place and that it meets our high-quality standards.
