REPAIR SERVICES
Overhauls and servicing process involves a complete disassembly and inspection of critical watch components, followed by systematic cleaning, oiling, lubrication, and precise regulation. We also meticulously clean the crystals and cases. However, plated cases cannot be polished.
Mechanical movements must be cleaned and overhauled at least once every 5 to 7 years, depending on usage and environment. Running a mechanical movement without changing the oil will cause it to wear out and perform poorly.
Quartz movements that use a battery do not require regular servicing and can be used until they stop running. However, gaskets should be checked and greased at least every year or two and replaced with every battery change.
WATER RESISTANT WATCHES
To maintain water resistance, it is crucial to reseal watch cases for watches listed as waterproof or water-resistant since this condition is not permanent. Gaskets should be inspected and tested at least once a year and possibly more often if the watch is frequently used in water. They must be replaced every 1 to 3 years to maintain the original water resistance, as recommended by the owner's manual or manufacturer's website. However, it's important to note that all watch cases will eventually wear out, rendering them unable to be made water-resistant.
Swimmers and divers' watches must be sent to the factory for all servicing, battery replacement and re-certification if used for swimming or diving. Simply replacing the battery does not guarantee water resistance.
To avoid premature damage to the gaskets, avoid exposing your watch to hot, soapy, chlorinated water, solvents, or fuel. If you fail to inform us that your watch is used for swimming or diving, we cannot be held responsible for damages that occur after servicing or battery replacement.
We will inform you of any visible gasket damage or signs of water damage during battery replacement.
SOLAR WATCHES
Watches that use solar power (such as Citizen Eco-Drive and Seiko Solar) do not require batteries and must be serviced by the factory.
GENERAL DISCLAMERS
Due to repair service restrictions, we are unable to send watches to the factory or service centers on behalf of customers.
We cannot guarantee that a watch will remain functional for any specific duration of time after replacing the battery, as this will depend on the condition of the movement.
We are unable to reseal the case after servicing, and watches with gold nuggeted cases cannot be sealed.
Generic parts are generally available for repairs.
We have the ability to work on and repair most types of watches. However, in recent years, there have been significant restrictions placed on the availability of certain parts by the watch manufacturers. As a result, there may be cases where we are unable to obtain specific parts for repairs.
